After an internship period, Patrizia Toia asked me to work as an accredited assistant. With this role I supported, among others, the drafting of various important reports on climate change and emission schemes.

 

Furthermore I have been in charge of improving her presence on social media, communicating her activities and organizing and supporting events, both in Belgium and in Italy.

 

My duties in this position involved drafting amendments for plenary sessions, speech and press releases writing, attending meetings with lobbyists and producing written reports, liasing with media and constituents, identifying policy needs, receiving high level visitors and generally ensuring the good representation of Ms. Toia in word and deed.
